This Japanese manufactured third variation pistol grip wood stock is for the later Type 44 Arisaka bolt action carbine in 6.5 caliber with the third variation bayonet housing. This butt stock is in good condition with a dark oil appearance containing numerous light dings, dents and scratches from honest use along with a sliver missing on the upper right side near the butt plate and another one on the left side behind the swivel inlet.
